Have you ever used your credit card for a free trial and forgot to cancel and got charged? Or do you just like free trials in general and not ever want to pay for the full service? 

Now there is a way to sign up as many times you like.

Bank of America credit cards are probably behind Chase and Amex in the rewards department but they have a feature that makes owning one a huge advantage in today’s world of subscription based services.

Introducing Bank of America’s ShopSafe®

Basically, if you own any Bank of America Credit Card, you can get access to this feature. Use a new credit card number every time you sign up for a service's trial. 
 

I was able to log in to Bank of America and see this for my Spirit Airlines MasterCard

Side Note: I know, you probably almost vomited by reading that as I did while typing it. I do not advocate owning a Spirit Airlines credit card. The points are worthless and the most difficult to use. I was young and dumb and had no idea what I was doing when I opened this card… please do not judge me as my innocence was taken advantage of at the young age of 18.

Anyway, this feature is mega-valuable as many subscription-based services provide free trials as long as you put a credit card number in. You can easily have the card expire before the trial ends and the subscription couldn’t charge the card again.

The One Email Address is as Good as a Million Trick

Now, what about accounts that have a once per lifetime type trials. Well simply create a new account. You may be asking, “I only have one email address though…”

Well, hopefully, that email address is with Gmail.

Gmail does not identify “.” (period)

So, if you have a period in your Gmail address… you will still receive an email if you were to remove the period. This will also work by adding an unnecessary amount of random periods throughout your email address.

Example:

Mileaholic@gmail.com was signed up without any periods.

Mile.aholic@gmail.com would send to the same box.

Mile.ah.ol.ic@gmail.com would also send to the same box.

If you run out of places to put your periods… you can actually add a “+” and a string of random numbers to it and you would still receive email to the original box.

Mileaholic+567876@gmail.com would work

If you wanna get hella fancy a combination of the two would also work.

I failed math a couple times, but it sounds like there’s a gagillion possibilities you have here.
