Why One of the Best Airport Lounges Could Be a Restaurant and How You Can Wine and Dine for Free
For me, airport lounges are one of the best parts of trips. They start and end your travel with a life of luxury. From bottomless drinks and endless food, having the right memberships can simply come down to having the right credit card in your wallet.
Priority Pass is one of the best features that accompany high-end credit cards. The value of this is debatable but when talking about Priority Pass via Chase Sapphire Reserved, accounting for unlimited guests (limits based on lounges), that savings adds up.
My last trip to Denver was enhanced by simply checking my Lounge Buddy app.
Lounge Buddy is an app for your phone that shows all lounges you have access to. It is a must-have tool. It shows you exactly how to get to these lounges, what they offer, and their policies for guests.
Upon checking the app, I found that Concourse C in DEN had Timberline Steaks & Grille listed. This is in fact not a lounge but a restaurant. This is not uncommon as many restaurants will partner with Priority Pass.
The interesting benefit here is that unlike granting just access and a limited option for food and drinks… these restaurants provide a credit that can be used on any items…. per person!
Did you just get excited reading that as I did when typing that?
This lounge specifically grants $28 of credit per person. So, if you had 2 guests including yourself as I did… that’s a whopping $84 off the bill.
Please note that this does not include tip. Which you should be tipping at lounges anyway.
Luckily, I’ll be back in Denver in a few weeks. You know where I’ll be.
